About this venue
Avebury House is a two-storied Victorian house set in the midst of Avebury Park, Eveleyn Couzins Avenue, Richmond, Christchurch. The House, which has been refurbished by the City Council, has been set up as a community facility and is run by a Charitable Trust. The House provides an attractive low-cost venue for community activities and functions. There is some car parking on site. We can supply trestle tables (2 sizes) and chairs, tablecloths and 75 outdoor chairs, plus crockery and cutlery for approx 50 people. No wine glasses are provided. We can also supply a wedding arch. Use of a commercial-size kitchen and all facilities are included in cost. Clients do their own cleaning up. Noise down by 11.30 pm and House must be vacated by 12.30 am. Security opens and closes House with additional cost of $22 (more if after 10.00 pm).
